Overview

StudioHand is the recording studio’s own record of what happened. It tracks takes and keepers as a session runs, so the useful detail — which pass was the one, what changed between them, what still needs attention — is captured at the desk instead of reconstructed later.

It has its own site, which is the authoritative source for availability and detail.

Features

  • Take tracking

Every take logged as it happens, with the keeper marked while it is still obvious which one it was.

  • Session history

What was recorded, when, and against which song — kept as a record rather than a memory.

  • Built for the desk

Designed to be usable with one hand during a session, not filled in afterwards.

Who it's for

  • Recording and mix engineers running their own sessions
  • Project studios that need the session's history to survive the session
